Do we have to like a team because they are Canadian? Do we have to like them because they are up and coming?
For fucks sake blob I hate the laffs good or bad... period... get over it ffs
I don't like them either rats. I just laugh at how shitty they alledgedly are in the eyes of Doc and his minions. They aren't shitty, they're actually pretty good. It's just amusing that they are mia after that great game last night. BTW you aren't a guzzler ratman

Unlike you I am not a reactionary/panic investor - "SELL! when the market dips a little" BUY! when the market spikes a little. You don't due your due diligence, Blobbee. You jump before thinking.
I do think there's an element of jealousy/inferiority complex at play when it comes to the leaves (largest market, huge fan base, better hockey team these days, brighter future). By any measure, the leaves rebuild under Shanahan has been a success thus far, and is well ahead of schedule (weaker Eastern conference plays into this). The Canucks should not be afraid of following a similar path. Those that say "decade of darkness" have nothing to fear, if Benning is a genius, he'd handle a real rebuild well and without the need to rebuild the rebuild (a la what Shanahan or Chiarelli). Imagine having 2-3 Tryamkin's/Lockwood's/Gaudette's per draft...

Imagine if we had a top two pick in either of the last two drafts. McDavid, Eichle, Lain or Matthews.

And we are all together….

Nice one, HW! Yeah, the leaves and Oilers are pure genius rebuilders, NOT. Pure Luck more like it, how different are the Oilers had they not fluked out and moved up 3 spots to draft McDavid instead of getting stuck with Dylan Strome?
How different are the leaves had they fallen back a couple spots and drafted Puljujarvi or Dubios instead of Matthews? But hey, everyone just completely ignore that and dog pile on the unlucky lottery losers and throw bouquets at the leaves and Oilers, holy fuck. Yeah, real genius; Shanahan and Chiarelli are alright. Luck has nothing to do with it

The Coyotees picked Strome over Marner and Hanifan. There's been some smart decisions by both organizations. It's really hard to knock anything the leaves have done lately. The Boyle and Andersen trades? Great drafting, great signings, etc.
It's a lot better than having your president admit he can't rebuild because it will make your aging stars unhappy. The Oilers and leaves are giving themselves a chance to win. The Canucks are not.
So McDavid and Matthews have nothing do with their teams current successes this season and they would not be different without them? Hmmm, interesting...I am surrounded by morons.

So if the Coyotes selected Marner, who does Genius Shanahan select? Let me guess, the next best player in line from what we know of those prospects now! Marner fell into their lap.

Nobody said that but you are a fucking moron if you think all that seperates Vancouver from Toronto and Edmonton is Mcdavid/Mathews. Vancouver has one of the very least talented group of youngsters in hockey

Yeah K, Bubbles. Button has 4 Canuck prospects in his Top 50 NHL affiliated prospect list. We suck alright.
