He should have gotten a serious beating for that or at least been given the business end of a stick.Look no further than the wet noodle sitting in the presidents chair.
I'm with you on this. It seems the entire organization has had a streak of yellow running through it for decades. From the hairpullers to speedbags to turtles...its been embarassing. The last group of Canucks with balls was late 90s when they sucked.
I was hopeful Benning would bring a little bruins with him but sadly no...that went to edmonton with cherelli. Drafting Tkachuk would've been a start but we went the other way.
Well there was the time Todd Bertuzzi killed a guy('s career). And when we had the toughest pound for pound fighter in the NHL (rip ryp).

But yeah, currently the team is gutless and soft. Kind of like if Jason Segel was a hockey team...

It would be nice to land the 1st and take a flyer on the oft injured - Patrick. The one thing I do like about Patrick is he's full of piss n vinegar and doesn't mind dropping the mitts. It would be a nice transition out of the soft Sedins stigma. The likes of Boeser, Horvat, Virtanen, Gaudette (the future forward core) have more push back than Hank n Dank (who doesn't), not to mention the Tree and Guds. I'm really hoping Labate can turn out for us, cause he's one of those types who likes to cause shit. We need some of that with this next incoming core.

I have never been near Tuna's ass. You might know more about that than i do. I am going to confess. When i was a kid it was a choice between the Habs and the leaves. No self respecting B.C. boy could pick the Frenchmen and I loved Jonny Bower, Bobby Baun, Red Kelly, Mahovlich and others back in the day.

I still think we will win a cup before them.

$31.5M for a first year NHLer... only in Leavesland!

Actually I heard he's fighting an injury, threatening to shut 'er down for the year

... which would turn him into a Group 6 UFA this summer of course.

Nothing like Tuna's 25-year-old "rookies" holding the hammer.

Matthews has definitely triggered all his bonuses, gonna hurt next year's cap big time but oh well eh Tuna?

Guess he's the face of the franchise now for sure!

Hilarious because he's definitely a pigman!

It's really sad that your big argument is Leaf rookies have been so good the reached their performance bonuses. That is just the worst isn't it? Your big argument going into the season was Mitch Marner was going to be a terrible bust. You've been reduced to this because everyone has exceeded expectations.
Also, remember last time the leaves lost to Buffalo you said Buffalo's rebuild was better? Giving up a 3rd rounder for the rights to Jimmy Vesey-Who has less points than Zack Hyman, that's how you build a winner!

Hey pal YOU were bragging about all the cap-room YOU figured your Leaves would have.

YOU needed to be reminded about the $5.5M in bonus money that will be tacked to the cap.

Plus raises to rookies-in-their-mid-twenties Zaitsev, Brown, Hymen, etc.

There is no way for YOUR Leaves to patch their holes moving forward, no capspace.

Eventually the Pigman will get paid

(I've said this all along)

... but luckily for YOU injuries will destroy pipsqueaks Marner/Nylander...

But they do have cap space. I have shown you it.
And Kadri is overpaid and Marner will be a bust. Gotcha.

Marner is going down and even most Leafers agree Kadri is having an unsustainable fluke season...

But together a sample roster for next season using Capfriendly.

There is no way...

The Unsustainable fluke season was last year when he recorded 45 points and had an unsustainably low shooting %.

So they can't afford the current roster next season is what you're saying? Yes they definitekly can.
I have a strong feeling JVR is gone anyways. They won't keep the exact same roster.
