Flames win in OT…
They're closer to the playoffs than they are to us.
There's still hope, BCE!!

Flames getting relatively hot and getting those meaningless garbage time points - that’s behaviour I typically expect of the Canucks.
Flames are now tied for second last with Rags and Blackhawks at 65 points.
Canucks have 50.
Canucks magic number down to 12 points (or six regulation loses)

I guess Conroy can't handle a rebuild...

Hockey Gods. Paegan magic? All we need now is to sacrifice Kane in a volcano.

What a fucking team - they can't even lose properly.

Silovs - NHL second star of the week…a little more justification for management team replacement (as if there isn’t enough already)!

His overall stats are still very average - about the same as Tolopilo.
Keep in mind that the Pens are 9th right now (+22 diff) and we're... well, we know we are - with a -78 diff. Similar stats on a much better team.
The goalie situation is still a clown show thanks to These Fuckin' Guys™ - but we'll have to wait to see if letting Silovs go was the mistake we thought it would be.

When their “starter” clearly earned the nickname “Tankinen” you have to question management’s judgement.
At the time Lankinen’s contract was signed some of us said it was a mistake, as was it a mistake to not keep Silovs and run with three goalies to start the season.
It all falls on management and their pro-scouting judgement.

My bad - Silovs second star of the week was a couple weeks ago, not this week.
Doesn’t change my opinion though.
This weeks three stars are Kucherov, Forsberg and Caufield.

The Sens move into a wildcard spot.
I'm rooting for BUF and OTT, teams that have been rebuilding forever. It's good to see. Maybe it'll be us one day?
Probably not... not with these fuckin' guys.
Also, Martin Necas. Sure, he's been mostly a winger and plays with MacKinnon a lot, but if he was actually in a trade discussion and we didn't go for it... fuck these fuckin' guys.

I'm so sad... that the second uppercut didn't land.

...and the Bruins trying to hang in yet losing to the Leaves.
And Ovies crew choking one away to the Blues.
Be an interesting finish in the East...5 teams + or - fighting for a WC.
So if the Wings crash and burn just how much more leeway does Stevie Y get?
It's been 7 years.
Preds making a valiant run with win #5 in succession...

Flames keep getting garbage points. Hawks, too.
This allows JTs Rags to take over the second worst record.

To me, its not that they let him go, its that they only got a 4th for him. If that was the value, we should have kept him and run with 3
