I think this probably what it is. The argument for it is quite strong

This being the case you have to let the player work through it. It's happened to many players over the years and they usually come round once the noise dies down. Just look at Huber dough

The skillset is there still. If you can help him through it the potential return is way beyond what you will get back by moving him with a pennies on the dollar return
I think that's a good comparison.
Ok, using Huberdeau He's had 55,52,40 point seasons and is projected for 61 this season at $10.5M aav.
Do you think that's acceptable value?

Nope. Its terrible.

With the cap going up so too will be demand for high end talent for teams to spend their newfound wealth on.

Once the season is done (and before July1) there will be many more options for trading him. There will be plenty of teams willing to take that risk which should mean more value coming back.

It seems pretty obvious they will let him sink or swim til the offseason then flush him if he doesn't find his game. I'd say it's a position of strength unless they shoot their wad early and sell at the deadline

Allvin and the Babe have until July 1st to make a move from Pettersson’s anchor of a contract. I certainly hope they are still exploring the idea of trading him. If not, and his struggle continues, we will be sorry for it. At this point the risks of him busting far outweighs the risk of him returning to his old self somewhere else. These are what you have to accept when performing risk management

A team with a chance to win lord Stanley would be wise to look into acquiring his services…not a team with no chance in hell of winning it, should, such as your Vancouver Canucks

Can I ask you a question Mr Rubber Pants?

If the Vancouver Canucks added these three low key acquisitions, would they be a contender through the lens of your miserable old bloodshot, beady eyes??

Luke Schenn, Brayden Schenn, Jaden Schwartz.

Whats the acquisition cost?

Is McCann available?

There are quality players out there as teams look to reset.

Look at Shane Wright dude... once again you look foolish dumping on a 19 year old kid.

Van has turned alot of heads since the trade. They're like 6-1 or something and right in the hunt.

Plus they have a massive chunk of free cap space. I think it's well north of 10 mill to play with.

They're going to give this group a bump up. Guaranteed

Well, going by the first sentence in story, apparently not. Apparently the story was put out by some Reddit keyboard warrior so the legitimacy of the story is questionable. Someone commented later on the tweet claiming to have an inside source saying it wasn’t “faggot”, Miller kept calling him, it “pussy”.

Regardless of which exact insult he was throwing down, it's totally unacceptable. It also seems like QH was not going to let it slide either and took it up the ladder to get sorted ie:trade the problem out of town

I see why they were calling it a mental health break
