Rumors are rumors and leaks are always sus to some extent, but this seems quite a chaotic build-up to whatever announcement gets made before the draft - sadly, par for the course with this crew.

Interesting, lots of rumours/speculation out there - leads me to believe that the current POHO is no longer involved in the situation because Rutherford can't keep anything from leaking it seems. If he was in charge, we would already know the chosen candidate, his salary, shoe size and preferred ice cream flavour. He can't keep anything secret.

Seriously though, I'd be pretty happy with RJ as POHO, Gold as GM, Lagunbrunner as AGM along with Rogowski. Hank and Dank as directors of player development.

Where did Langenbrunner’s name come from? I’ll admit I’m out of touch on this.

He's an AGM with Boston and I guess complement's Gold's skill set well. I'm not going to be posting any beat reporters social media posts here again, but different threads of gossip out there today have the Canucks hiring Evan Gold who will be bringing a bunch of Bruins front office with him (Langenbrunner and some analytics guy) or Ryan Johnson in and Gold out.

It's interesting that he was "offered" the position - and that they couldn't come to an agreement and announce his hiring in the new role. It will be awkward if he turns it down, though.

Just seems like more unnecessary drama from this clown show outfit (not to insult clowns, btw)
