The end is long gone. It more was a last spark glimmed out in the dark.
But nevertheless being 20 years together on the same team is a dream of fandom and 3 cups together is prizeless.
Say what you will about Elmer, but Vancouver was never going to rebuild even with the Twins in the twilight of their careers. Pittsburgh was never going to throw in the towel so long as those three were there.

What a bum Hughes is. Only 8 points in 6 games including tonight’s game winner.
I find myself now hoping the Wild take out the Avs.

Poor butt hurt Canuck fans.
How soon we forget all those years the Avs bitch slapped us around like red headed step children.
I'm all in on the Wild.
Properly constructed, cover all phases of the game hockey team with a highly competent GM who is not afraid to take gambles and an owner committed to winning and letting his hand picked people do their jobs.
We should be so lucky.

You want the Wild to win the Cup and give us the worst possible pick?

On a more happy note, Oil are down 3 - 1, late first.

Yes
I don't care who wins as long as it isn't Edmonton or Montreal.

Exactly. I am a Canuck fan first, I wanted that pick to be best possible for the team.
Who cares if the Avs bitched slap the Canucks a few decades ago.

Toss up for me.
I like the Avs and MacKinnon better than I like the Wild.
But I can’t stand Kadri.
Draft position is important. Right now we are picking 24th with Minnesota’s selection. If they make it into the conference finals it falls to 29th (or lower). While that’s sorta meh in terms of the difference between which player you select at those respective positions, for some reason it feels like a 24th overall selection has decently more trade value than 29th…..
Ultimately I’d rather see Hughes doing laps with Lord Stanley than Kadri.
