Confirmed as Ohtani vs Scherzer.
Lots of fun.
All arms should be available even if just for a much needed out.
A Jay win and Leaf loss would be a perfect Toronto sporting night for those of us on the outside.

Re: MLB playoffs
Toronto being Toronto, I am just fine with a leaves loss and Jays loss.
However, I'm rooting for the Jays because I know a few of my fellow reprobates here would appreciate a Jays WS win.

Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
Re: MLB playoffs
As much as I appreciate players like Betts, Freeman, Ohtani, Yamamoto and Kershaw, in a microcosm the Dogers represent what we hate/have hated about the Leaves for so many years.
As much as I dislike Toronto the Jays represent (as much as an organization can in modern day sports) the success a well constructed team entity can achieve irrepespective of luxury tax franchises.
As Blob said the other day, they are only a dominant closer away from being the "perfect" team.....

Extra innings…. Bad luck for the jays
I am he as you are he as you are me
And we are all together….
And we are all together….
Re: MLB playoffs
That 3rd out catch by the Dodgers in the top of 10th.....clutch.
That inning was one for the ages. Loaded bases. Nobody actually struck out. The call at home was insanely close on the replay when the catcher's foot came up.
Toronto may not have fully "Toronto'd", but damn if the curse doesn't seem pretty real right now.

I was thinking they should have given Hoffman the hook sooner. He was pitching scared (not that I wouldn't have been shitting my pants out of stress in that situation).

Yeah it sucks but fans crying over this loss need to get a grip on reality.

It's a fantasyland they're living in, watching millionaires achieve their dreams. Devastated when they don't. LOLMëds wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 9:37 pm5thhorseman wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 9:26 pm Yeah it sucks but fans crying over this loss need to get a grip on reality.![]()
