On a one to two year affordable hit.... definitely. He's probably getting a little long in the tooth but this team needs someone on the 4th who can actually contribute AND cave in facesStrangelove wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 9:58 pmMatt Martin?Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 7:02 pm He's a league minimum type of signing. Wow.. it’s summer so I am not keeping up much here, but what’s with all the Petey hate?? People just bored??Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 9:50 pmHe is an extremely dedicated athlete. I doubt he wanted to acknowledge that he was worn down or not strong enough to fight through the bullshit so I expect he trains twice as hard to come back stronger.
All jokes aside, he is one of the top 10 centers in the game
I’m with ya Cuz.. Petey will be just fine.

It's been an epic summer on the water out here in the republic of Alberta. It's like living in a kid Rock video with the partying at the lake, hammered chugging piss out of mason jars listening to Hank Williams Jr AND Sr.
Chef is scurrying around in his ant hive amongst the billions of immigrants and lefties fixated on Donald Trump's ear and how much he thinks living in a kid rock video must suck
Chef, we're singing sweet home Alabama all summer long

Re: Canucks News N Notes 24-25
11th in the NHL 5 on 5 scoring per 60 the past 2 years beating out the likes of Hyman, Ratanen and Panarin.
High ratio, even strength goal scorer.
In limited, bottom 6 ice time as well (12 min per game and under)....
A no harm, no foul signing.
Low risk, potential decent reward.
DeLevering since 1999.

Well there goes any credibility I ever had. Never thought we would get him that low.

At that price point it bcomes a solid add. I just didn't want to see a multi-year situation where he can settle in for the long float like some of these types are prone to dodonlever wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 12:21 pm11th in the NHL 5 on 5 scoring per 60 the past 2 years beating out the likes of Hyman, Ratanen and Panarin.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 24-25
Yeah...wasn't gonna happen Cuz.
He hasn't earned multi-year at any upscale cost.
Needs to improve on the back end of his game (which I am hoping our coaching staff can do considering the success they have had with others....)
Our bald and old ass Sharks circled, lured and attacked.
This is legit bargain hunting success....

Re: Canucks News N Notes 24-25
That last spot in the top 12 and the 13th forward spot suddenly got very competitive. Hoglander, Podkolzin, Aman, and PDG are all in tough.
My guess is they put Hoglander on the fourth line, Aman gets the spare forward spot, PDG gets waived, and Podkolzin get traded to move out Poolman’s contract and they get a late draft pick in return.
Heinen Miller Boeser
DeBrusk Pettersson Sprong
Joshua Suter Garland
Hoglander Blueger Sherwood
Aman
