...away from your Oiler neighbour presumably?

The fucker is flying two Oilers flags on his car antennae right now, grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Tanev's loss sucked - at the time, there was a lot of talk on how often he is injured etc., and I get that - but Van has been looking for his replacement since letting him go, even rumoured to try to bring him back via trade from Cal, and then again in FA. That was a bone-headed move letting him walk.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 11:16 pm Kind of ironic that Tanev and OEL ended up on the same team. I mean we lost Tanev to FA because we were fixated on making the OEL trade. Just saying.

If keeping the 50 games of Tanev would have avoided the previous GM absolutely corncobbing us with the OEL trade, then I wish we would have kept Tanev.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 9:21 amTanev's loss sucked - at the time, there was a lot of talk on how often he is injured etc., and I get that - but Van has been looking for his replacement since letting him go, even rumoured to try to bring him back via trade from Cal, and then again in FA. That that whole period is not one of Bennings finest hours. Canucks are still paying for that non re-signing and the trade for OEL.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 9:56 amIf keeping the 50 games of Tanev would have avoided the previous GM absolutely corncobbing us with the OEL trade, then I wish we would have kept Tanev.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 9:21 amTanev's loss sucked - at the time, there was a lot of talk on how often he is injured etc., and I get that - but Van has been looking for his replacement since letting him go, even rumoured to try to bring him back via trade from Cal, and then again in FA.
