Woo picked a good/bad time to get injured. Is he on NHL salary if he is injured to start the season? He's our 9/10 defenceman and if he is ever going to get a shot, this fall was likely it due to better players still being waiver eligible. Too bad, as I thought he would top out ahead of Ethan Bear, for example. I expected a 4/5 guy who hits a lot, not an AHL plumber.
I wonder why he waited to mid August to get the surgery? I too was hoping this was the year he got his 1st NHL game. I cannot understand why he has never been given the chance.
Well Wids, it’s because he is not that good.
He can’t be any worse than a number of players we have auctioned on the right side.
lol. This is true in the past. But there was always concerns about the play in his own end, which he really never started to overcome until these last season or 2 and when there was that hole in the NHL club lineup, that’s when he was hurt..
Perhaps I should have said ‘it’s good that we now have players that have moved him down the depth chart’

Kane with a lazy clearing leads to a goal against - hopefully this isn't what we see out of him in the regular season.

Lekkerimaki looked like he's taken another step. He's a dark horse to win a job I reckon
Cootz looks like a pretty solid prospect too. Hes a shifty skater who has some hands. Nice add to the prospect pool

Hughes coughed up the puck then fell down causing the 2 nd goal… hope that’s not a regular thing

I hope they sign this Patterson kid if they haven't yet. He's been a standout among the kids for me. You gotta like big Alriksson too. He is signed.
