I’m beginning to think this Hughes guy is pretty good.

Streaky, freaky and finally peaky thru the blinders.

Megs, are you overrating Eddie Lank? Everything looks good now, but recall Spencer Martin also looked decent when initially thrust into the role.
Yeah, except that Lankinen was god in Nashville. He didn't fall out of the sky.

We'll see who's right Carl.

Megs, this might be a good conversation topic on the Main Board.

If I happen to be feeling non-cynical (a rarity apparently) and less of a shell of my former self ( ) I have some ideas on firing up a topic on this.

Good subject though...be interesting to see if anyone has the desire to debate.

No issues being wrong. It's a regular thing for me

However, Air Canuck Max has had many backups that got their doors blown off when the load eventually exposes them and they fall out of the sky.

I trust your prediction records much more than Cackling Cuz.

Donny the first couple of days I was here I attempted to start a thread about the homeless guys in North Van who race shopping carts down the steep slopes. A local guy made a documentary about it called Carts Of Darkness. Anyway, the mods deleted the thread and I never really bothered with threads after that, with one or two exceptions.

Really Megs?!

Had no idea.

To "cynical" I guess....

:look:

Bummer on that being the reason for no threads though.

I've bandied some thread starting ideas with Mods here behind the scenes.

I used to do a lot of that in the old days (other CC) to generate chat.

It just becomes a whether it is worth the effort in current times or not.

Still undecided on that.

The Demko/Lank thing is indeed a solid subject though.

Because the team can’t have one person in the goal scoring lead.

Way to go Pew-pew!!!

Players are starting to find their legs. Höglander just has to capitalize on his chances.

I did get a pretty good one off I thought about my old gang of hefty gentlemen in my younger years and our buffet raids. A biographical thread. It's gone now I guess.

Also did a tribute thread to the Canadian Tire Guy, the great Ted Simonett and his downfall.

That one's gone now too. But I really don't get into it anymore.
