This is a bit of a snoozer, but the boys are playing better than in Pittsburgh.

Höggy still doing things that are likely driving Tocchet crazy - even while getting ice time with Petey. I’d say trade him, but who on the depth chart would do better? Lekkerimaki is not ready for full-time duty, and neither Bains nor Sasson have shown anything to say otherwise.

Pettersson making the point on that PP why he can't be the go-to guy. Smart play to try and relay but it gets blocked, smartly recovers the puck but then is oh so easily pushed over and the puck cleared.

On the actual goal.....similar play, Petey getting pushed around and Buffalo about to recover but a teammate comes in and pushes the puck back to Hughes at the point who relays the puck to Boeser for the play to Garland.

Then the beauty double clutch in a shooting lane and instead forces a bad pass that results in a Saber's SH scoring chance.

Gotta shoot that Petey….
