Bains is the smart move, he’s shown to be ready for regular mins. Heady player who has some sneaky ability.
Agree to disagree. IMO Bains is a plug who is always a full step behind the rest of the players on the ice. His hands are so slow he looks like he’s playing with an 11lb hockey stick.
How does everyone not see this?

Media pushing hard to bring up the kid, but despite his strong start, he missed the first 3 weeks and has only played a handful of games. Let him marinate.

Aman got a wake up call last week. Team sent him down and 31 other clubs took a pass. Now or never.
Should be an entertaining game tonight.
Any word on Half-sack yet?
Agreed BOS,Bains knows how Ricky wants him to defend and it will be interesting to see if Aman has a little more intensity to his game.

Patrik Allvin just met with media:
-Boeser still being evaluated for an upper body injury. Won’t play tonight.
-Hopeful that Joshua can play on this homestand.
-No timeline for Demko.
-Lekkerimäki tweaked something and won’t play for Abby tonight.

Read earlier somewhere on Socialz that Demko could play by months end latest.
Bummer re Lekk, was really hoping to see him with Surfer Boy out.
A reason to watch for me it would have been.

Not sure if you read the Johnny Hockey Forum or not but our resident reporter/upkeeper of intel on the AHL club, Megs, has grave concerns that someone is going to kill the kid down there as the A has become a bit of a league of thugs.
Shit like that was happening to Podz, did it hamper his growth/confidence and cost us a potential player??
Don't know, but it is a subject for discussion at least.
He also says the kid is smart as a whip and has world class hands.
So, in summary, no one is saying rush him into a full time role in the show.
But, with Boeser out and the team at home a game or two a let's see what we have is not out of order.
Imesho.

Is it wrong for me to recall when Daniel Sedin was at the top of his game, got concussed by a flying elbow by Duncan Keith and never played as well again?

Not at all.
It's horrible timing for both he and us.
Plus The Flow has (at times) shown a propensity for slow build back from negative occurrence over his career.

Yeah, plus, if Megs says Lekkerimäki is ready for a cup of coffee... he's ready for a cup of coffee.
I too was looking forward to seeing him in the lineup tonight.
Hope the injury doesn't keep him out long...
