I can't believe I'm watching a Flamer interview....

In this case, you have to forget about what team he plays for - I think his attitude and upbeat nature is something most people can appreciate.

I did - I usually can't stand watching player interviews, and wish they would do away with them in the middle of the game, and the same with coach's interview during the game.

Chef is very concerned with passing on Zach Benson (BC kid) for Willander. Could be the next Seth Jarvis, maybe even better.

Swayman's agent responds that they have not seen an offer and finds it underhanded that the Bruins are handling negotiations like this.

That will be a kick in the pants to Boston after they traded Ullmark so they could re-sign Swayman.

If Demko gets quickly healthy, and Swayman still unsigned, I'd offer Demko plus any semi-reasonable addition.

25 years old, a workhorse who shines in the playoffs, from Alaska (making Vancouver the closest NHL city to home).....if he can be had for $8x8M in a sign and trade, I'd do it. Takes him to 33 on what will be a reasonable contract in 2 years time. We have to negotiate with Demko when he's 30.

Goalies aren't worth that percentage of the cap.

The Bruins know that.

Swayman will learn it.

Laine out for the season.

Leagues give BJ's cap floor relief as long as the comply "in a reasonable amount of time."
