I’ve just caught up on this thread too.

Sorry to hear of everyone’s struggles with health. It just ain’t fair sometimes, but Expat is right, we are all Canuck fans and we can take a beating like no other.

Hang tough boys!

Thanks again everyone and I also would like to pass on my best wishes to everyone battling it out. Keep the fight going and win!

I have completed phase 1 of my treatment. In February I start 4 and a half months of high intensive chemo.

I just saw this. Very sad news to see Doc is no longer with us. His contibutions here, both as a poster and a mod were valued. I can honestly say I received more emails complaining about how Doc was a pain in someone's ass than anyone else...lol. I usally just ignored those emails.

He was one of a kind, and I am sorry to learn of his passing. May he rest in peace.

An update:

Have completed two rounds of high intense chemo. Start the 3rd round on Monday. Today I visited the doctor for a regular check up on how treatment is going. Blood works is coming back mostly good and he is happy with my progress.

The only thing I had to disclose is that I have had extreme diarrhea for the last two days. Apparently, eating 30 chicken wings in one sitting will do that. He said to stay off the wings for now but was also happy that I am healthy enough to be able to eat that many wings.

Life hack for theman:

Chug 3 x jars of metamucil with real sugar per day and eat anything you want without shitting yourself.

That goes for all you other old bastards who can't eat what you want

You are welcome
