Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas
If they are trading Hronek, a top 4 RHD, they had better do better than Sillinger. You want a proven top six centre not a as of yet unproven. I still think they are after Norris.
I also think the rumour is BS.: started because Hronek’s NTC clause kicks in July 1. Same as you know who.

It offends me that the media morons come up with trade ideas that even SKYO would not have suggested, and then rip off our ideas, and because their ideas are so messed up, our bullshitting seem "rational".
On that note. If you could choose trading our ownership for new owners, or, trading our mediots for new media, which would you do?

Let us remember, and honouring it with integrity and all due respect, exactly how SKYO would want us to post in a trade thread created for his legacy…by proposing trades no matter how legit or ridiculous they may appear to be.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 11:41 am If they are trading Hronek, a top 4 RHD, they had better do better than Sillinger. Now all that Chef is merely doing here is just spit ballin’ ideas in the some fashion SKYO spit balled. The aggression of your response, IMO, is uncalled for.

No Skyo would propose Hronek for Fantelli and a 1st. I mean he just went to town. He may throw in Hoglander.

True, but it is one half dozen of the other lunacy. It’s all lunatics. I proposed a deal that some feel is lunacy but I may suggest that the lunacy of my proposal has more realism attached to it than your classic SKYO proposal. In other words, you never get what you dream for in a trade, it’s always less than you think, i.e., we tend to look at our own players value through rose coloured glasses, forgetting Hronek’s age, contract and injury history compared to Sillingers age, contract and injury history. Sillinger gets better marks in those 3 categories in which I may add, has value to them whereas those same 3 categories D-value Hronek.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 3:59 pm No Skyo would propose Hronek for Fantelli and a 1st. Was dialed in on the Halford and Brough show today, they had the great Seravalli on asxguest. It was a brilliant convo. Chin wagging on about how big is back. Truculence so to speak. Marco Rossi’s name came up, whom apparently is being shopped cause Guerin likes his beasts. According to the geniuses on the show, Rossi, although has some offence to his game ain’t not good if your team is suffering from cowardry like the Canucks. Too many Smurfs on the team already. Where do you stand on Rossi, Blobbee?

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas
The Flyers have a shit show goalie situation, Carter Hart is damaged goods, Tocchet and Demko have history. Now the problem with the Flyers, their centre situation is worst than ours, almost. After Couturier it’s Cates and Poehling, with top centre prospect Luchanko waiting in the wings. Chef has been mulling over Demko to Philly trade options SKYO STYLE. Now, if the Canuck brass get a sense from Demmer’s camp he won’t extend here, they need to move on from the jabrone. Trading Thatch to Philly won’t necessarily help out our centre position but it could help refill the pipeline. The Flyers have the 6th and 22nd overall pick at the draft. You could work a deal surrounded around Philly’s assets of Luchanko, or the 6th OA or the 22nd OA. Luchanko may be a couple seasons out but having him in the pipeline would go a long way to restocking our centre depth.
Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas
I can't see the Flyers parting with Luchanko, but if they would, I think that would be a awesome deal.
I don't think Demko wanting to re-up should be a factor in whether they trade him or not. The team is a long ways from contending any time soon.
Silovs is ready and not waiver exempt anymore. If you can get a decent return on Demko, you go for it.

Yeah, I keep coming back to Demko being traded. Also, forgot that Silovs will not be waiver exempt after this season.dangler wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 9:38 am I can't see the Flyers parting with Luchanko, but if they would, I think that would be a awesome deal.

If the Flyers trade Luchanko they will have a ton of options to draft another centre at 6th overall - Frondell, Desnoyers, O’Brien, Martin, McQueen, to name a few.

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas
If you listen to Herb Dhaliwal, Demko wants to remain a Canuck. He's committed to the stinky whale.
When is he eligible to sign an extension? This summer? I lock him in for 6-6.5x8 and see if someone wants to give Silovs a job

Not with his injury history. Let him play out his contract at most.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 11:02 am When is he eligible to sign an extension? This summer? I lock him in for 6-6.5x8 and see if someone wants to give Silovs a job
Re-sign if he shines.
