I’ve always marvelled at how clumsy oppositional Russians are - and how bad luck they have.
They always seem to trip in front of cars, trucks or trains, fall down stairs or out of windows, when they’re not getting killed in muggings gone wrong.
Just think of all the investigating reporters Novaya Gazeta has lost in unfortunate accidents like that.
Not to mention the really odd ones, who happen to drink plutonium laced tea or get gifted perfume containing nerve poison.
