Cassidy stressed absence of Pastrnak & Kase had nothing to do w/disciplinary action, or photos of them in North End or working out at other rinks earlier this week. It’s health-related: “This isn't discipline against those two guys. ... We're not disciplining anybody."

Not to focus on what ifs, but what if the Canucks were to lose to the Wild and then it goes off the rails and is nixed?

There are currently 23 players listed as "unfit to play".
So the allegations are of the heterophobic Trump-hating variety.Jeremy Roenick Sues NBC Sports for Anti-Straight Discrimination in Firing
Roenick was fired by NBC Sports back in February after he made sexually suggestive remarks about colleagues Kathryn Tappen and Patrick Sharp on a podcast.
Roenick’s lawsuit states that figure skating commentator Johnny Weir made “colorful commentary” about skaters’ body parts for NBC Sports during the 2018 Winter Olympics, and when Roenick asked his supervisor about that, the supervisor responded that Weir “is gay and can say whatever.” Roenick’s suit also points to a promotional video featuring Weir and on-air partner Tara Lipinski that included vulgar language; Weir and Lipinski were not suspended or fired.
Roenick also claims that he was fired because the network was retaliating against him for his support of President Donald Trump. When he asked for permission to speak at the 2016 Republican National Convention, he alleges he was told: “You know who you work for. You work for NBC. That would not look good on your NBC record.”
Six more added today... 29 players now listed as "unfit to play".Strangelove wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 1:45 pm There are currently 23 players listed as "unfit to play".
https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/ran ... ier-games/New York Rangers forward Brendan Lemieux has been suspended for two Stanley Cup Qualifying games for interference on Colorado Avalanche winger Joonas Donskoi.
The hit in question occurred on March 11, right before the NHL season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lemieux hit Donskoi late in the game right after the Finnish forward scored for the Avalanche.

Upon reviewing the footage, the actual wordage MacKinnon uses is:
“I think Cale will be healthy soon, he should be ready to go.”
But you get the point. Either way, good news.
