Doyle Hargraves wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2020 10:56 am The Giants have 118 goals for in 46 games. They are anemic offensively. It’s a team sport. I guess since all you did for sports was ride around on a bike in tights, you don’t quite grasp the concept of team sports.
They are leading the wildcard race, 2 points out of a playoff spot and are above 500. They are not the bad team you suggest. So I guess what you’re saying is that the team last year had everything to do with Byram’s season and not Byram himself? That doesn’t look good, with how this season is going for him I guess you’re right. I still believe those 26 goals overrated him in which from what I understand a lot of the goals came in OT and the PP and not so much 5 on 5.

Was Byram’s dad at Britannia that day? He was a hockey player growing up, may have even gotten a game or two in the show.

The way you latch on to random players or GMs and go apeshit on them out of left field is hilarious.

Juolevi selected one of 3 stars in last night’s 3-0 win. Olli continues to impress in the A

Shawn Byram is 51, born in 1968. He’s a big guy, 6ft 3, 220. He was a fighter in hockey, got five games in the NHL. The Chef hates his son with a passion. But why? He’s a kid that is having a down year but is still only 18 years old and by all accounts is a great kid. Chef has blind rage towards the kid. Makes no sense.... or does it? Could there have been another incident back in the Chef’s formative years growing up? Chef is right in Shawn Byram’s wheelhouse agewise, maybe a couple years older. Byram is a Westen Canadian kid who probably played in BC in a tournament growing up in Bantam or Midget. Can you smell what Hargraves is cooking?

What if there was another incident like the skullet tossing that has scarred the Chef for decades? Maybe th e Chef wandered down to Britannia or Burnaby 8 rinks to watch some minor hockey back in the early to mid 80s as a teenager. He took a real shine to this strapping Shawn Byram kid and proceeded to follow the kid around everywhere leering at him. Maybe Byram had enough of the spandex clad skullet boy in KISS boots and threw a beating on him. Something happened to twist the Chef in this fashion.

Thoughts Brown Lizzy.......

What did I just read? I will tell you what I just read - nonsense. let me out s now tie in this:

Here is reason to be concerned with Bowen - on pace for 6 goals. To put in perspective - Woo currently has 6 goals. Byram scored 26 goals last season. Combine that with his ouchy WJC showing it’s not looking good. Did he have a one off Florida Garrison like season last year? For Colorado’s sake, I hope not

And to think ole Doyle is trading Godkolzin for him

:wow:

Maybe Holland and future GMMG were at britannia doing some on ice drills with this Shawn Byram guy...the showers there aren't restricted. A googlie eyed young chef could've snuck his skullet in there to stare at sausages and got skullet tossed/towel whipped no problem...
Back then 8 rinks was called 4 rinks. It was pretty busy so its more likely it all went down off commercial at Brit. That rink stunk but was quieter

The Chef was checking out the sausages but they scrambled his eggs.

Godkolzin voted “KHL” rookie of the Week. But Blob is trading Godkolzin for a D-man struggling in a junior league

Blob, in all seriousness are you trading the KHL rookie of the week - Godkolzin straight up for a left shot d-man struggling in a junior league? Hell I wouldn’t even trade Seider, Broberg or Soderstrom for Byram. Why are you constantly out to lunch?

Godkolzin will fit like a glove in our top 6. He’s a beauty. Larionov compares him to Mark Messier!

Byram has always projected as an all around D man. No idea what Garrison or Woo have to do with anything. More red herrings from the Chef.
