Friedman and PDG not in the lineup as expected.

3-0 Tucson in the first period. Onyebuchi unsuspended and in the Tucson lineup as expected thanks to the AHL's non existent discipline and their promotion of random, gratuitous violence. Well played, morons.

The frustrating part of this situation is that Rutherford knows what kind of a league it is but he refuses to protect his players for pacifist ideological reasons.

And it doesn't end here, the clock it ticking until Lekkerimaki is knocked out, there's literally nothing but the kindness of strangers preventing it.

This is why I was and I remain a strong proponent of leaving Lekkerimaki in Sweden until he is older and is NHL ready or very close to ready.

The AHL is no place for premium prospects. It is a goon league straight out of the movie Slapshot.

Dino Kambietz dropped the gloves with Onyebuchi and really got his ass kicked. I mean Onyebuchi absolutely cleaned his plow.

I dunno Megs. This is the GM who gave up a 1st Rd pick and decent player in Sunquivst for Ryan Reaves.

Not sure he has pacifist ideals. Maybe the blame needs to be laid on Johnson's desk?

Based on all the roster cap-related shenanigans, costing their players $$ - I'd tend to agree with the no fucks given idea.
