Different kind of player, but I think he's still a good player Chef. He's been pretty good in the series in my opinion.

Other guys could do as well.

Same guy thought Eriksson, Roussel, Beagle, Schaller, Sutter, Sbisa, Gudbranson and Poolman signings were awesome. I’ve heard rumors Trevor Linden used to take him to games to sit in the Captain’s Crew. He’d strap his helmet on and whack people with his goal stick.

He’s the 5th best D man on the team and about the 15th best player. He won’t be a big factor in winning. He’s about as important to a team as Ian Cole these days at best. 3 million dollar player at best. So the buyout penalty will sting but he was never, ever close to his original deal. So he’s either siphoning 8 from your cap or you lop the cancer off and take a 4 million dollar hit for 6 years. They got two years of good relief. Need to find a decent 3 million dollar player and a kid on an ELC that can contribute.
