48 hours ago, we were burning it down. Now, we have a love fest going on. I can't keep up.
I guess us fans are as schizo as the team...
..a good number of you are yes.

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that G Jiri Patera has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL) and F Jonathan Lekkerimäki has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).
I'm guessing Lankinen is ready - starting tonight?

Nobody knows, it’s pure speculation on whether he stays or he goes. The “stay” crowd is as legitimate as the “go” crowd at the moment.
Chef speculates that Quincey Hughes will not play his entire career as a Canuck.

Hughes is getting slammed for his body language of late, especially on this sequence from yesterday’s game. Hard not to notice but at the same time there is an argument to be made that “we” the “fans and media” may be the cause or partially to blame for some of this apparent toxicity that could be driving the players to want to get out of dodge.

When there is no story, create the story. That seems to be the motto of the Vancouver sports media.

Pretty much. No news is something they are challenged by, but if that’s your bread n butter - a journalist, then they have to rely on hypotheticals to help them through the day, remaining relevant, but it’s these hypotheticals which seem to develop legs and runaway wild on us and developing a life of their own

I believe that our current ownership group and their relationship with some of the mangers and presidents they have hired over the years along with the work (their failings) of some of these managers and presidents is responsible for some of the continued toxicity that has been hamstringing this organization since they bought the team some years ago, so yes… “partially”.

That's probably a pretty safe bet to make. Wikipedia says only 4 players have played 12 seasons or more, and all with the Canucks. It's a pretty rare thing.

Our media needs to watch Tropic Thunder. RDJ has some good advice for our media.
