NHLJets have agreed to terms with forward Kyle Connor on a seven-year contract with an average annual value of $7.14 million.

Connor is an excllent hockey player, that’s a good contract for the Jets.
Boi ole Boi, the Oilers could have had one of Barzal, Connor, Chabot or Boeser instead of trading for Reinhart. Even better, Blobbees Bruins could have had 3 of the 4 in Barzal, Connor, Chabot or Boeser instead of DeBrusk, Zboril and Zenyshyn. Thank you Sweeney for fucking that up.

Debrusk wasn’t a bad pick, but it looks likely blew the other two. Imagine Chabot and one of Boeser, Barzal/Connor there. Still they have Pasta, Charlie, Carlo
and Jake. It’s a good nucleus to build off of. Hardly reeks of any incompetent scouting

They’d be winning cups for the next decade. He and his entire staff butchered those 3 picks. I’m sorry but you’re taking Chabot, Barzal, Connor and Boeser miles ahead the best of the 3 - DeBrusk. So ridiculous, it was the best draft class in decades, they were the envy of that draft with those 3 picks, they’d be the powerhouse of the league right now, not even close. Sweeney should have been fired over it.

So the Bruins butcherfucked the middle of the draft in 2015 but still managed a good top six forward in Debrusk, but it’s too soon to judge Virtanen or Juolevi who were both top 6 picks.
Sweeney should get fired for having one of the best teams in the league.
I’ve heard it all.

Way off the board! Way!! I remember to this day how choked the Bruins fans and media were with Sweeney. All pundits were flabbergasted. Seriously when you get 3 shots in a row to land 3 franchise type players like Barzal, Connor, Chabot and Boeser and don’t get one of them you deserve to be fired! FIRED!!
