As Corn noted recently it seems our Backupinen who is now our #1 Startinen was Lackinen back up Travelinen plans.
Damn.
Was hoping for a stellar medal winner versus medal winner netminding duel.
Alas.....
Practice lines yesterday...

This!
So many springtimes and early summers sat inside the house watching playoffs while the sun was shining. But now, after 46 years of being a fan and suddenly experiencing this downturn in Canuck fortunes, I feel like a burden has been lifted.
At the end of the day I don't think I'll my be on my deathbed wishing I would have watched more hockey.

We'll all be wishing we would have watched more GOOD hockey... (or been fans of another team)

Phew, for a minute there - I thought you'd say "tape the game..."
Toews swan-song at the Garage?
Cheering for our Olympians before the puck drop, or during a TV time-out?
SO much intrigue! So much anticipation! Can you dig it!?!

NS Winter Club youth hockey is having a very successful year @ U11 & U13 (both teams undefeated other than a tournament loss for U13 in the Pat Quinn Classic to a AAA Anaheim Ducks sponsored team).Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Tue Feb 24, 2026 8:27 pm We'll all be wishing we would have watched more GOOD hockey... U15 (20-0-2) is excellent as well but placed second to Ridge Meadows (20-1-1) in the final PCAHA standings.
Celebrinis brother plays U15 for NSWC.
U15 is body contact level and Ridge Meadows grow some big boys out their way. Very, very aggressive teams.
Both NSWC and Ridge U15's are in the final 4 of playoffs currently.
The Bedard/Celebrini factor is going to have a major impact on NS hockey moving forward.
They both have dressing rooms named after them at the Club already and can be seen there hanging with kids et cetera when in town.
My point.
Go watch U15 NSWC hockey.
Far more entertaining than any Canuck game.
