Best game in a while by the team. They actually showed some heart. EP played great, want to see it a few more games.

Lankinen was amazing.

EP40 looked more like his old self, enough to make you think he can be better before the season's over.

Hughes looks like he's at 70%, and with this punishing schedule I fear for the lad's health moving forward. I get the competitive drive and the message it sends, but management may have to tie Quinn's hands and shut him down for the good of the player and organization long-term. With Junior potentially out, and Forbort perhaps dealing with a hand injury, it just makes the decision so hard to make, even if it's the right call.

Lankinen was solid. Some hairy moments, but the D collapsed and covered for him.
Love the Sport. Love the Team.

Hate the League.

Zary should have received 5 + Game, here it is:

Targeting the head away from the play in an act of revenge for a clean hit?

Man, definitely best game all season. It totally felt like a playoff game. I wasn't sure we'd come back after giving up that SH goal. Big props to EP40, Blankinen, Huggy43 and Garly8!

I thought Tocc should have played Silovs last game and give Blankinen this one. I guess we can't really critique the result. We prob needed the clear 2 pts and not give them the single as the Flames have a game in hand, but we'll take it. Blues and Utah are in the hunt as well and lots of games to play still, so it'll prob go down to the wire.

Just had to say, this is why u keep Sushi7 if u have any playoff aspirations:

- Juulsen out for season
- Friedman & Brannstrom already traded
- Huggy43 banged up and not 100%
- Myzy57 injured last game
- D-Petey25 injured tonite.

If the latter 3 are out for a period of time, we'll be asking the likes of Brisebois, McWard, Woo or Wolanin to step in. Guys with limited NHL experience and are minor leaguers @ this point, not exactly a recipe for success. If mgmt wanted to move out Sushi7 to open up cap space, u move him out in the offseason, not while the team is in the middle of a playoff race. A total boneheaded move there.

Can only hope.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

That elbow to Dpety was atrocious. Exactly the type of play the NHL says it wants out of the game. A suspension needs to happen. Hope the kid is ok.

The Alien may be back. Still holding my breath but his game has picked up noticeably. Four possible outcomes tonight. The best of course would have been a regulation win. But the next best was an OT/shootout win. Take the extra point and move on.

Suspension or not, looking forward to the next time these teams meet. Zary would be wise to keep his head up if/when on the ice same time as DPetey. Kadri can remind him. Too bad we'll have to wait till next year.

Aside from the 3rd, thought it was another disappointing showing really. Hard to get pumped about anything with this team. Just seeing a soft, slow, easy to play against group with little bite up front. I suppose you can call it a gutsy 3rd having played night before and down to 5 D. Will grant them that, and signs of life from 40. I guess one of the few things left to look for as his progress is important whether you're a fan or hater. That and maybe the promising youth on D.

Otherwise pretty ambivalent about making/missing the playoffs. Tough path the rest of the way when you look at the sched. Could be ugly.

We don’t sell high here. That would be wise like Warren Buffet wise. We average down or tax loss sell.

I sure wish teams would stop bullying us Doc. It's just not a safe work environment out there.
