The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

So you (UW / Topper) see it as an innocent wave to his fans?
We'll never know - but it's just something to remember for future reference.
I tend to presume most things are innocent (maybe dumb, but not malevolent) absent strong evidence to the contrary. Not because I am naive, but because I am not inherently sanctimonious. This is especially so where those making the accusations and insinuations have been so terribly and miserably wrong time and time again.
Tell you what, though. If the American Republic turns into a nazi state in the next four years and Musk becomes a senior minister, you will be able to say "I told you so."

Hey, look over there....
There is a lot of this, isn't there? Not sure which "side" benefits more from this state of affairs, but this is one where the media (once again) falls short of its obligation -- but maybe gets clicks? There has been so much activity in the past 7 days, some (in my view) good, some (in my view) not so great, some (I am sure) I have no idea has happened, and here we are talking about whether Elon Musk made a nazi gesture....

Tons of distractions, and no real reporting any more. This current 'musk gesture' discussion is fine for a hockey board to toss back and forth, but there are much bigger issues at hand for the mass media to cover.
trump is all about distractions, and plays the media for (mostly) fools they are. Today's distraction is about planes to Columbia (even though there have been 100's already going without the 'fanfare').

I don’t think it was an innocent wave at all. I think it was a 100% troll.
Musk, and Trump as well imho, are expert trolls. They expose the stupidity of their opponents by baiting them into jumping all over stuff like this and making wild claims about their beliefs despite all the clear evidence to the contrary…..as UW pointed out, Trump is a massive friend of Israel yet decried as a Nazi (anti-Semite by definition), made massive gains with the “minorities” who Nazis would, by virtue of mission statement, also hate.
On a local level, Doc does the exact same thing to some. To the point that they expose themselves and the try to walk back and reframe their words…..and eventually snap and disappear (the list is long, but see ukcanuck for one).
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

And which side of the fence does the VAST majority of the media land on politically?
So to answer your question….

To a greater degree through their media lapdogs.
