Was the BJ's hiring of the Cock half cocked?

And add another forward without balls?
Does Babcock have pictures of this?

The Dregs of society are postulating that the Cock's job might be in jeopardy. Would be so funny if true.

Guy is so toxic he can't even make it to training camp!

I don't understand. There's assholes like Keenan and Torts, and jerks like Sutter that can burn a whole team down, and Babs comes along and basically decides that he wants the fucking crown back?? 3 years in the hinterlands (yup, Toon town is only slightly better than Edmonton or Winnipeg), and he didn't learn a god damned thing.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

Fantilli and Bedard played their first prospect games and both scored hat tricks.
But the Canucks got Tocchet and a lottery odds ruining winning streak.

It’s how we roll in Canuck land, this organization is to politically correct to do the accidentally on purpose tank. There were at least potentially 4-5 generational level prospects at the 2023 draft and what do we do? Fire Bruce to avoid drafting high but yet miss the playoffs. So, fucked up

The Canucks were never going to finish in the bottom 3 last year. They would have had to strip it down before the season started.

There wasn’t 1 generational talent let alone 4 - 5 of them.

Some media are reporting that CBJ and Babs are parting ways.

Sad that the BJs and The Cock can't be together.

This seems like folks are on a bit of a witch hunt for Babs. I don’t think there was anything sinister regarding this whole fiasco. But that’s what it’s turned into……..a fiasco. The guy can’t stay in his own lane. Can’t stay out of his own way. It’s too bad because it’s clear he has a good mind for the game and can get a lot out of some players.

Mike Babcock can’t adapt much like Mike Keenan snd John Tortorella. We will see if Coach Q joins that pile. And before you say well Torts still has a gig, Philly hired him to weed the garden. They value his mind, not his ability to communicate to todays players long term.

These coaches are more communicators and babysitters today. The perfect amount of mollycoddling and the delegating to assistants is what’s required.

Guys like Pat Quinn, Barry Trotz and Ken Hitchcock adapted. A guy like Don Hay did not.

Interesting how this photo roll story developed for the Cock and the BJs.

Looks like he 'resigned' - likely the last we hear of Babs in the NHL.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
