Nah. This isn’t about that. This is just the silly hype over what a prospect does in a far lesser league.
Mëds, lol just accept your hate for Sweden ffs, we’ve all accepted it

The point being: the best defense man in the AHL should have a career in NHL…

On the flip side, Silovs is slaying it at the IIHF WHC. He is the biggest reason Latvia is playing Canada in the semifinals, stopping 40 of 41 shots to take out Sweden in the quarters.

He's probably better-served starting in Abby next season, but he looks like a good option to back up Demko as well. Maybe he makes Demko a trade chip next summer (or trade deadline depending on how next season goes)?

Silovs might need so strength conditioning for next year. Playing with that heavy bronze medal around his neck might slow him down a touch. Well earned medal by our future #1 goalie (and not the cursed "goalie of the future").

Bobrovsky is 6’2 182
Fleury 6’2 185
The best goalies need to be wiry and really thin.
Silovs 6’4 203
That fat bastard doesn’t need more strength. He needs to develop anorexi.
Get him down to 190 and he’s gold instead of bronze.
