There's only two or three of those teenagers.

I wish security would give them the boot.

Something happened to Klimovich and he's face down on the ice. Kids are still whooping.

Looks like Arseneau took a run at someone and wound up hitting Klimovich. He's getting up now.

Bains has really improved over the course of the season but I wish he would shoot the puck.

Final score was Abbotsford 4 - Ontario no score with Spencer Martin recording his first shutout of the year.

Rematch goes tomorrow night with Silovs the probable started in net.

I am really happy with the teams structure on player development in the AHL. I feel for the first time there actually is a plan to develop the prospects. Meg as someone who has watched all the games what is your thoughts on this, are the prospects getting a chance to develop, I.e. being out on the ice in the last minute or to defend the lead etc.?

Definitely. I would say the proof is in the way they are playing when they get called up.

Hoglander is probably the prime example but they haven't been able to bring him up because of games played/ waivers.

Just wait until you see him now. :)

There's a huge log jam forming on the wings. They'll be cutting people loose this summer for sure.

Same lineup again tonight vs Ontario. Silovs gets the start though.

Looks like they're employing the same system as the big club. Allow a ton of shots against, rely on the goal and try to outscore them. :D

It’s about the process.

Looking back on boxscores since Jan, just about every goal has a contribution from at least one of Hog, Karlsson, Klim, Bains, Raty, Aman, Pod…. While Silovs has taken the bulk of the starts showing upside.

All in all, it’s been a fairly successful regular season for a bunch of the kids. Here’s hoping they can make some noise in the playoffs this year, after the papered guys head back.

Raty has really been picking it up lately. It's very encouraging.

I don't think he'll ever put up much offense but you can really picture him in a third line center role with the Canucks in a couple of years.

The switching hands for face offs is interesting.

They're going to be a handful when the papered guys return.

They could really do some damage this year.

As I keep mentioning here Hoglander is ready right now. He has been out of this world recently.
