That's just from the first few pages of the Benning Extended thread...
I am going to re-post this on a regular basis.

Is HFCanucks now a Seattle Seagulls forum?

Has the new rivalry begun?

Don't trust anyone. :look:
Pretty wild stuff for FAN forum

I was just reading the J.T. Miller thread on the main boards, and found it interesting that the Canucks fans posting there that don't normally post in HFCanucks have a much more reasoned, balanced, non pants-pissing approach to the situation that the Canucks are in. It's like they realize that trading a pick for a player isn't automatically a horrible, slit my fucking wrists event. It just makes me shake my head when I read posters whining about how merely making the playoffs isn't good enough, and it has to be "Real Cup Contender ©" or nothing, baby. It's like they expect a team to just lose on purpose, trade every veteran possible, acquire superstar after superstar through the draft, and then BAM! - instant cup contender, without any sort of intermediary phase between lottery team and winner, without veteran support because VETERANS BAD! LOL MENTORSHIP, all the while chastising those who disagree for lacking patience.

It would be sad if it weren't so laughable.

They are still talking about Butt Gillis (Melvin) pototato. Potatometrics is the cats-ass, much better than Sabremetrics.

Potatometrics is fucking brilliant, it’s simple really, you draft players with the highest point totals. Fucking hell! Genius! You meld Melvin and MS into one human being and by god, you got genius beyond genius

Yup why I post on the main boards and stay away from the 'emo the world is gonna end' crew in hf/canucks.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I sometimes wonder why people post crap like they do on social media, I wonder do they not know better and realize one day it could bite them in the ass? But nope everyday you see stuff that just makes you shake your head. Then you have forums on the WWW where everyone is 7'0 tall and full of muscles or 5'6 and size E boobs and Barbie doll hips/waist and you read what they type and you are worried for the future of humans on earth.

When I see them going so bonkers over a sport and taking it so personal and getting all worked up. They really need to step away from the keyboard and start getting outside.

My son is one of the many moderators on this; Image
.
He also is one on a Metallica forum and a Jurassic Park/World forum. He's a back-up, back-up on dot com.
You would think the Pro Wrestling forum would be harsh. It cannot touch hockey forums; really.

For what it's worth, I'm a mod on an old school photography forum, (negatives and slides only). I teach a bit and look in about once every 3 days.
It is not intense. I have had to settle some folks down when the lack of copyright rules and the lack of enforcement of what there is,
comes up.

Reef; I see some folks on HF Boards that according to their post times, are there over 20 hours a day. And like you say; going bonkers.
I think that's when the doctor says "I'm sorry, there is nothing we can do".

https://hfboards.mandatory.com/posts/164011911/

So apparently Ryan Kesler dominated the AHL in 2004/05 according to this character. He scored 58 points which left him 59 points behind league leading scorer Jason Spezza, 3rd on his own team in scoring by 20 odd points and 20 points out of the top 10 in the AHL in points, but Kesler was the dominant player in the league.

What a place.

Ronning on Empty doesn't get much sleep.

RG hasn't been around these parts much since FA rush.

I don’t think they are the same guy. I know Ronning on Empty does read here though.

Ronnings Ghost is a good poster. He isn’t a raging idiot like ROE.
