The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Harpsund is kind of like Sweden's equivalent to Camp David. :|

I tried to ignore it but he had to kick 20 times and start barking. A Korean couple asked if was going to coean it up. I said I speaka no English and have the gout.
Ah, that reminds me... Last day in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We're taking a taxi to the airport. OK, I figure, last chance to practice my Spanish, so I strike up a conversation with the driver. Turns out he's from Cuba and that his old man had been granted asylum in Sweden and lived there for a while but then moved to Puerto Rico and managed to get his family out of Cuba to join him there. So, anyway. He kind of frowns, and then he says "look, I just have to ask, my old man told me something about Sweden, it's probably not true, he probably just made it up, but I've got to ask. He said that when Swedes are walking their dogs, and the dog takes a poop, the Swedes bend down and pick it up in a little plastic bag. Look, I'm sure he was just pulling my leg, but, you know, I've got to ask." So I confirmed that his dad was right. That that's the law and if you don't you may get fined.

"Oh, man," he laughed. "That's crazy! They could never make us do that!"

Well, at least now he knows his dad didn't lie to him!
