NFL Thread: Thoughts on the game south of the 49th

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Brady's four game ban is reinstated.

"Our role is not to determine for ourselves whether Brady participated in a scheme to deflate footballs or whether the suspension imposed by the Commissioner should have been for three games or five games or none at all. Nor is it our role to second-guess the arbitrator's procedural rulings," Judge Barrington D. Parker wrote in the majority opinion. "Our obligation is limited to determining whether the arbitration proceedings and award met the minimum legal standards established by the Labor Management Relations Act."

Seeing football players taking a knee for the anthem is like watching the French prepare for battle.

Is Joe Buck the worst announcer of any two sports? He's terrible at anything he does but I'm not sure where he is the shittiest .He is garbage in baseball and I have no idea how he gets a prime time gig . He wrecks the NFL games almost as bad as he mangles the US Open. Asshole would be pumping gas if he wasn't Jack Bucks son.

Brady and Bellicheck are friends of Mr. President, Donald J. Trump.

Luck had nothing to do with Brady's performance. It had a lot to do with Edelmann's catch off a Falcon leg, but that was impressive focus nonetheless. In the end, it's a "game of inches": Matt Ryan's arm was just about to move forward on the fumble play, and the last 2-pt conversion made it across the plane by about 10cm. Close, but no cigar, Atlanta.

I wonder if they fall like this year's Carolina next season?
