Is there a god?

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

There might be a god, and I'm leaning that way as I get closer to death.

No, we all know deep in our heart that the only true gods are the Æsir and Vanir of Old. Thor, Odin, Tyr, Freya and the lot.
Why else do you think the Nordic countries are doing so well?

We must remember how Odin hung in that tree, nine days, stabbed by a spear, sacrificed himself to himself, and how he from that sacrifice gained his wisdom. The wisdom that he shares with us in Hávamál, The Words of Odin The High One:

Chef Boi RD told me in a PM that he knows God exists.

He said only a fool would believe otherwise.

He said the existence of God is "as plain as the nose on Pigman's face!"
I’m not fooled by him at all. He’s the ultimate troll. Never gets my goat and I only bother engaging when I’m in the mood to bandy words with the guy living under the bridge.
Mëds, tell me something, how does the concious mind keep on working after you’ve kicked the bucket with no working brain matter operating your consciousness as the brain is now dead, dead and decomposing with your body, if you weren’t cremated?

Right, you two guys mock those who believe in God

I'm casually mocking the situation more than you and others who believe specifically. Remember, I am a confirmed Catholic...even if I don't believe it.

My mind is open to something more plausible than little grey ass probers. An intelligent race that visited and genetically altered the apex indigenous ape species to serve their needs is no more absurd than theological points made with little to no actual proof backing them up.

Also, our ancestors could have easily interpreted what they were seeing into what is written in the Bible or Koran or any other supposed religious account

So you believe God created the little gray men who then created us?

Or do you believe God created the Reptoids who later created the Grays, who later created us?

LOL, wotever Cuz, it's a semi-free country, enjoy!

You can just tell Him on Judgement Day you got ahold of some bad weed is all.

When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called a Religion.

To answer that is a very long conversation discussing body/mind/soul…..and since you don’t actually want to know, and also don’t believe what I believe there’s no point in wasting the time.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

That’s the whole point of this discussion, trying to get you cats to provide credible evidence, but ya never do, ya just skirt around it.
