CC Random thread

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

John Cleese once nicked Canada as the most sane Country he had ever visited.

No longer it seems.

Good for BC for adopting permanent daylight time and drop the ridiculous time change twice a year. Danielle Smith is also looking into it for Alberta. Hopefully we adopt permanent daylight time here as well.

Too bad your province didn't negotiate land treaties with BC first nations way back when Alberta negotiated such treaties with their first nations. We won't have your problems of where 1500 first nations people get land rights over a large swath of Vancouver - absolutely ridiculous.

Brilliant!

The EU was supposed to get rid of it in 2021, but then the Pandemic happened, and this got placed on the backburner and unfortunately they've never come back to it. :(

It may seem like a minor issue, but death tolls go up every time they make people get up one hour early again.
It leads to sleep deprivation and is detrimental to your immune system and overall health.
It also leads to an increase in car crashes the week right after the spring change.
