My assessment on Wright so far. He stinks.

The guy who said that would be "a top-5 GM in the NHL", or so says another certain corner!
That seems to be the consensus Doc.

Sort of like the people that were in charge of the Florida Panthers for a short time. Those guys are legend :)

The bronze game could be of interest for Letterkenny watchers.

Fabian Lysell, who plays for the Providence Bruins was supposed to be one of the stars on the Swedish team, but despite plenty of ice time he has been held off the score sheet. Tonight he’ll be the 13th forward and is replaced on the first line by Jonathan Lekkerimäki.
Other than that the team looks like it did in the semifinal.

Anyway, this means Lekkerimäki should get a lot more ice time tonight and be surrounded by Rosén and Stjernborg, which will give him every opportunity to show us what he can do.

Lysell didn’t take the demotion well. I think it’s his first shift when probably trying to prove something he gets a five and game for checking to the head… :hmmm:

Lekkerimäki, on the other hand, sprinted past Cooley on a turnaround, causing him to grab hold of his arm, resulting in a powerplay for Sweden.

None of the powerplays have resulted in any goal so far. USA is ahead 1-0, but that was an even strength goal.

Merikins win 8-7 in ot.

Crazy game. Junior hockey at its best.

Game is tied 6-6 when Carlsson accidently trips Cooley with just over 2 minutes on the clock.
The Americans score on the pp with like 1:30 on the clock to make it 7-6.
Sweden pulls the goalie to get an extra attacker and ties the game with 21 seconds on the clock.

Noticed Letterkenny had one good shift late in the 3rd. Didn't float, attacked the American puck handlers.......then disappeared.

Is he playing hurt or just suck?

He was a surprise draft reach when picked and may be showing it.

Wild game, Sweden did better than I thought they would.

EP2, repeatedly exposed by the big fast Americans.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
