I think that's the second time this year we've beat the Kings after being severely outshot.

I've never liked that team much.

That was a spectacular shot by Pettersson to tie it.

Miller’s shootout goal was a nice one too.

The Kings apparently need a few more…..

Rumour has it a troubled and befuddled Kopitar texted his old buddy Quick after the game as asked him to reach out to his new teammates, Stone and Karlsson, to find out how many leather couch sessions they needed after facing bubble Demko.

Drew Doughty is a beauty. Great interview on After Hours. I felt bad that they included Erin Andrews’ guy.

We forget what a good international player he was for Canada.

Fuck the NHL and the runt Bettman for screwing hockey fans out of best on best tournaments for a decade. Though the Dude would be bitter about more US losses.

We've had a few 'feel good losses', but that was a 'feel bad win' - ugly hockey and 2 points we didn't need. How did we win with that D?

The skill gap between these teams is a chasm.

And we beat them with an AHL level defence ta boot

I thought Byfield looked pretty good out there but he's definitely not going to ever be a top line scorer or anything. More of a Nick Bjugstad big body to wear down a defense.

It was a blown pick but he's still going to be a solid 3rd liner for quite a few years

He’s 20 years old. I’ll wait a bit before I put a ceiling on him. See Thompson, Tage.
