Bettman's fumbling on his explanation re: Cheveldayoff and Quenneville. Cheveldayoff as an Assistant GM is still management and has an obligation to report the complaint, even if he has to go around more senior management. The claim that he's the only person placing himself in that meeting, the others claim not to recall him being there, doesn't wash. Bettman explaining the semantics around Quenneville coaching that last game stinks.
The Hawks as a standalone business entity are worth about $1.1 billion, bringing in $180-200 million in annual revenue, and it appears they're still running the business like they're stuck in the 6 team league era, which of course, it's a good thing they're not or the leaves would still be winning Stanley Cups.
The NHL and Blackhawks better be real careful here. The lack of action could realistically be viewed as paving the way for this POS to commit further assaults on highschool and college aged amateur athletes and the U.S. Center for SafeSport, U.S. Senate, and DOJ could start poking around based on the Nassar, USOC, and USA Badminton precedents. Pretty remote but you never know.
