I watched a prime Wayne probably 20 times live. A prime Mario 4 or 5. I'm a Mario guy.

Alex Mogilny had sick skills. Fucking guy could do it all. He was better than Pavel. IMHO he was better than Fedorov as well. I wish Lindros had a real run at it. He was a fucking stud.

Anyone rating Almo behind Trevor likely sucked on a soother on the short bus.
Who the hell is doing that?

Depends on the criteria. Mogs was likely our most skilled player (until QH), but, gawd damned did he have an on/off switch. When it was green he'd go like hell, and was at times the best player in the league. The next game/period, he'd be lazier than Bo Horvat on a line change. If Mogs would have had consistency in his game and in his effort, then there is no doubt he was better then Linden.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

Recall when Mogilny first began his career in Buffalo he was afraid to fly and took the train for most road trips. how much therapy did he have to endure the Vancouver travel sched?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Always an interesting call on when to waive. With the flood at the end or before others have figured out that they need to add.

I would think these guys go through either way, though I have a little hope still for Woo as an NHLer. He has some NHL things in his skill set, but last night seemed a long way from putting those things together.

Woo always seems just a slight step behind everyone else. He doesn’t boast great size, despite his fearless style. Doesn’t create much offence, and isn’t air tight defensively. He’s just average across the board and doesn’t bring enough to the table.

This bodes well:
"A lot of speed. A lot of character. The new guys fit in really great. Awesome guys off the rink as well...What I really like about Toch and Footer how educational it's been...For [new guys] to come in, they're going to feel really comfortable when we start the season."
