ViNTAGE PLAYER AWARD TRAVEL CLOCK?

Never seen one of these before yesterday. I've researched a bit, and have heard a couple different stories Lol
Maybe you guys can help me. It's a leather cased travel clock with old logo, so date makes it 30-45 urs old. The clock also has signiture National Hockey League.
Its in mint condition and dispalys great. Any help boys? Many thanks!
