I had to switch to the French broadcast as the English guys keep complaining about their equipment and aren't really calling the game.

The 10-0 drubbing in Calgary can't have done wonders for Silovs confidence.

Johansson with a dumb blind back pass to the front of his own net leading ultimately to a Laval power play opportunity as Klomovich goes to the box.

Early game standout Bains takes it strong to the net down the right wing and sets up Aman who beats Jacub Dobes to equalize with 1:12 left in the period.

Silovs stops Riley Kidney on a clean breakaway in the last minute to preserve the tie going into the break.

Bains will get the first call up, I'm almost certain.

I hope Silovs didn't get too cocky after winning the MVP. NA pro hockey is a different beast altogether.

Rathbone blasts a blistering slapshot from just inside the blueline past Dobes to put the Canucks ahead 3-2 with about seven minutes left in the second after buzzing the Rocket zone.
