Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Juolevi busting was what inevitably ended Jimmy. If he had at least been an average NHL dman Jimmy would still be weaving his draft table magic. Coupled with Jake flaking out canuckland just didn't have the stomach for 2 high picks busting like that. What’s worse: Holland Picking Zadina (6th) ahead...

Re: 2023 Training Camp - Sept 21-24

The piglander looked like the forward version of tiny troy stretcher tonight. Yeah, I’m seeing some Stench in Hoglander’s game unfortunately. If he don’t get it corrected he’ll be known as Stencher 2.0. Although Stencher had the homeboy support that blinded a lot of folks, Karl Childers included Bl...

Calgary was going to draft him if the Canucks took Tkachuk. Hex wasn’t an off the board pick my friend.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24

I’m part of the problem for smashing the low hanging fruit to smithereens. But it also gets started when folks irrationally lash out at the new management for trading a 7th for Kravtsov, shit like that. These guys deserve a bit of runway. The tard farm got almost eight seasons of runway and puked o...

Re: 2023 Training Camp - Sept 21-24

Podz obviously has all the tools and I don’t believe he’s of a low IQ variety to not have a tool box either, he seems to be a conscientious 200’ player and sees the ice well enough. IMHO confidence is what’s plaguing Pods right now When do you say time to move on though? I'd say it's this year. Isn...

Re: Is there a god?

Chef is taking a break from bringing the hammer down on God, I need not to be disrespectful to other people’s faiths, beliefs, religions etc., plain and simple. Chef apologizes

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24

I will end this round of the epic Gillis vs Benning debate with no NHL is interested or has been nor will be interested in the services of Michael Gillis since he was fired a decade ago, enough said. Case closed, he’s a bum.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24

To be honest Doc those moves Gillis made after 2011 leading up to the 2012 playoffs are very indicative of what Gillis was made of as a GM and why he can’t find work with another team. After 2011 he could no longer hide behind the fine workings of the previous GM when forced to make the appropriate...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 23-24

:mex: Where it all went wrong for Mike Gillis in preparation for the 2012 playoffs trying to get grittier (taken from an interview February 28, 2012). The worst GM ever: For Mike Gillis, it came down to skill and sandpaper. The Vancouver Canucks general manager, who pulled off the biggest trade of N...

Re: Is there a god?

Fuck this blew me away. I might make it my new signature

Perhaps Captain Kirk has it right in his final reflections on God to the ship's doctor at the end of Star Trek V: “Maybe He's not out there, Bones. Maybe He's right here [in the] human heart.”
