Re: My Truck...
Wait, Toyota made a vehicle and called it a Picnic? lever, I think I found your next ride. https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/car-reviews/toyota/picnic/picnic-1997-2001/ A small van. Available with six (2+2+2) or seven (2+3+2) seats. We had a six-seater. The seats in the third row were easily ...

Re: My Truck...
Per most Japanese made gas vehicles last a helluva lot longer than 12-15 years (unless you get suckered into buying American or euro made junk). Battery powered vehicles are clearly the future but until they solve the charging and range issues in vast countries like Canada it's Hybrids for now Yeah ...

Re: My Truck...
The main benefit of an EV though is how cheap it is to drive! My eldest daughter lives 360 km away. In the summer I get roughly 400-420 km out of my battery, so no need to stop to recharge. I charge at home, then use their charger before heading back. I'll use rough estimate Canadian prices, but ...

Re: My Truck...
Works in small countries that have developed power infrastructure. If you have electricity where you live it shouldn't be a problem. Just install a charger at your farm. If you drive more than 400 km on a daily basis I can see it may be a problem if there are no other charging opportunities ...

Re: My Truck...
Love the VW bus, classic, has a 1972 bay window but that just got too rusty to restore. So stuck to the bug and got that done finally! Would still love a 67 or earlier split window. The concept was great, I may have misrepresented my viewpoint, it’s just being all electric that was the fail! The d ...

Re: Muzac For Munsters
Well, in their defence, they're getting a bit old.
I saw them live two years ago. Gillan, Paice and Glover are still part of the lineup.

In honour of Country Joe, here's a more recent political song that's sort of in his style.

Feel Like I'm Fixing to Die is such a classic! R.I.P.
As for Grönwall's covers that he has been posting, he sure isn't playing it safe.
I mean, who the fuck has the balls to attempt a cover of Highway Star?

Re: Muzac For Munsters
First release from Erik Grönwall’s upcoming solo album. He has earlier fronted the bands H.E.A.T. and Skid Row. He quit, because touring took too much of a toll on his health; he has battled leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant before joining Skid Row. He toured with them for two years before de ...

Re: Old World Politics - rising from the ashes
Oh, and a growing majority of Brits want to rejoin! The political parties think it's too early to hold a new referendum, but more and more people are starting to realize just how badly Brexit is hurting the country. In the most recent poll, conducted in February 2026, 52% would vote to ...

The combination of Brexit, Putin's ongoing failed invasion attempt of Ukraine and Trump's threats of invading Greenland has convinced Iceland to start looking into EU membership again. https://www.reuters.com/world/iceland-plans-august-29-referendum-eu-talks-broadcaster-ruv-reports-2026-03 ...

Re: Random Hockey Shit
The evidence is there and the narrative is pretty clear! When was a kid playing street hockey with the crew we payed for the MF Stanley Cup cause that’s what my NHL team was trying to win. The ultimate prize! I’d say most Americans going up playing hockey are likely in the same boat. The number of E ...

Re: 2026 FIFA World Cup
Just 100 days left! 8-) Sweden might still make it. We play a qualifier against Ukraine on March 26 and the winner of that game will face the winner of the Poland vs Albania matchup on the 31st to compete for a slot in Group F with the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia. We've played like crap recently ...
