Re: Media (AKA Idiots) Rebooted

lol.

I was reading some of his comments especially the one were Demko said he would have signed a 20 year deal if he could have. And he yaps ya well it might take 20 years for him to give an interview. lol

But Demko did do a TSN interview and that is national so sucked up . F’ing media.

Re: League Business

NHL, with the approval of the CHL, looking to move the age from 20-19 for signing ELC. Looking to keep it consistent with other leagues.

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

no. Like I said not quit top six. Is bottom 9 better? I don't see us as having a true top six. So bottom nine and top 3??

I see our "top" 6 being Pettersson, Kane, Boeser. Chytle, DeBrusk, Garland.

BTW. You know well what I mean so give it a rest.

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

Perhaps a Suter replacement if they could land him for the money they wanted to pay Suter. Whatever that was. Middle 9 players can always be found. It’s true top six that are harder. Alvin has done a good job every year finding bottom 6 middle 9 type players. In fact we have some in Abby. Personally ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Only way they can keep him is to carry 3 goalies. And wait. Not sure that is good for his development. They’ve made their decisions on who to keep so unless they are trading Demko or Lankinen I see no path forward to keeping him. Very much like the Kippersoff situation years back. SJS I think ended u ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Wouldn't it be nice if Woo made the club this year. That would allow Mancini and Willander to cook a bit. We could also keep Deputy down another year and let Forbert play the L side.

Re: Ownership and Management

He was an obese dumb cunt. Should have topped out as a scout. Whoever though FF he was GM material is as stupid as he was. Frankie A. I think Trevor is smarter than that. As soon as Trevor was signed word was on the street he was going after Benning. He spoke to Can Neely directly to get permission ...

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

Well I like how he said the dressing room belongs to the players and it is up to them to straighten it out and resolve issues, to hold each other accountable. He said they wont like it if he has to go into the dressing room to fix things. He spoke highly of the leadership group and especially ...

Re: Free Agent "Frenzy" Day

Cootes will do this year in the W and maybe get in a few AHL/NHL games depending on his season goes. Next season I can see him 100% in the AHL with more time in NHL. I think this is reasonable with my rose coloured glasses on. at worse he spends 1 more year in the W and then comes up but I see the ...

Re: League Business

Per @reporterchris and @PierreVLeBrun, paper moves will be eliminated. If a player is loaned to the AHL, they will have to report every single time and they will also have to play 1 AHL game before his NHL club can recalled him. Bonus for the players who won't be 'papered down' to their AHL salary ...

Re: Free Agent "Frenzy" Day

It is likely the Canucks added the 7th year. They were hard on 40 million and Boeser was hard on 50 million. They had offered a max of 8 per year on a 5 year. To go to 50 million on a 6 year would make the cap to high. So I think once they agreed on cap and once they new they would have to move off ...

Re: Free Agent "Frenzy" Day

At some point we have to see what we have in Raty. This is the year to let him prove himself. A centre may come free into the season. Maybe not. But lets not rush it.

Re: Free Agent "Frenzy" Day

Why not just bring McWard back on a one year deal?
