Re: 2026 NHL Draft

Reading the last draft rankings seems Mckenna still is ranked slightly ahead of Stenberg at 1OA. But Stenberg is described as a LW/RW and NHL ready, already having developed a two way game. I still favour McKenna but I am swinging back to Stenberg as he may be more versatile and more ready to join ...

I guess there is no switch and losing breeds losing. I’ll be glad when it’s over.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Canucks denied Nashville permission to speak to Ryan Johnson for position of GM. Usually teams will allow assistants or minor league GMs permission to speak to other teams so I am wondering if this signals our preference to replace Allvin??

Re: Canucks 25/26 Season Post Mortem and look ahead.

Looking ahead, Bluegar says it would be an honour to be part of the Canucks when they turn it around and start having success. He wants to be here. I’m all for re-signing him 3-4 years but with limited trade protection and reasonable cap. Don’t know what that is though but 3 or less.

It would be nice to try and play spoilers. Make teams have to work to get points off of them. Next season starts tonight!!!

Re: Media (AKA Idiots) Rebooted

Stupid fuckers are only now catching on https://x.com/taj1944/status/2041226360459604367?s=20 The Ian Clark comment is a new one. How did they chase him out?? I believe a while back Dhali said Ian wanted to be a director of goalies and have goalie coaches, drafting goalies and goalie development as ...

Re: Past Canuck Players

Agreed. He did us a solid. Two things can be true at once. I’m fine with not liking any player who does not want to play for the Canucks. His contract was structured to take him to FA. I believe he always had one foot out the door. I give the guy props for the great talent he is. I give him props f ...

Re: GDT - Canucks vs Mammys, 4pm PST, SNP

Cheering for DeBrusk to keep scoring goals. Get him out there on every PP. They need to up his trade value - hopefully before the draft. Hope Mueller keeps dressing - I think he can be a Blueger style player in the NHL. I like his potential more than Sasson or Raty’s. 6-5 Canuck’s garbage time vic ...

Re: Past Canuck Players

Word is he is reluctant to sign with NJD because it will take ice away from his brother. But I do think he won’t be rushed. Minny has a very good team but I don’t see them as a Cup team. I think the playoffs will go along way to decking if he will stay or not. Front money is, if not Minny, Detroit. ...

Re: Past Canuck Players

He is too easy to blame everyone and everything around him. Talks about how well he played, leaving everything out there and has no regrets about his play. Both he and Jack come across as arrogant, entitled boys. To be sure they are great hockey players and a little swagger is fine. He is also one ...
