In Vancouver's case - nailed it. Unless Petey returns to form. Then bottom 11.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

I'm on board with keeping Silovs, and running a 3-goalie tandem for a bit. There was a bit of talk about Demko's practice time, and limiting it - Van is in a bit of unique situation due to this, much like an older veteran goalie needing time to rest. Silovs can fill in for those practices nicely. To ...

Re: Ownership and Management

RE: MT - you still take him, BPA - he becomes an asset, even if he wants a trade.

Calgary got a couple of good pieces for him.

What did Van get for Olli? Tops' favorite player and Lammiko?

The Devils 2003 cup winning forward roster: Patrik Elias Scott Gomez Jamie Langenbrunner John Madden Brian Gionta Jeff Friesen Sergei Brylin Jay Pandolfo, Turner Stevenson Jim McKenzie Pascal Rheaume Grant Marshall Jiri Bicek Mike Rupp. Yeah, Jello Bud, Chef disagrees with you big time. Sure, but Tkachuk was ranked higher - if someone falls to you in the draft, you take em. BPA.

Re: Ownership and Management

Maybe the Canucks could be like the new version of the Lemaire Devils era. The strength of those NJD teams was goaltending and defence like the Canucks now. The Devils didn’t necessarily have elite superstar forwards either. Come on Chef - between their 2000 & 2003 runs, they had depth at forward t ...

Re: Ownership and Management

lol, I remember that too .... I wonder if the player in question over the video game addiction has ever been disclosed? Jeff Marek who claimed to know who the player was had publically stated that it wasn't Juolevi.. Take care... Yeah, you are right - foggy memory on my part. Injuries were the ...

Re: Ownership and Management

Maybe Bennings biggest mistake was his hockey operations department and in paticular Weisbrod and Gear as his assistant GM's and Smyl as his Vice President of Hockey Operations... Not much talent or experience around him especially for a first time General Manager... As for Juolevi, it sucks that ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Small Euro scorer who thrived on big ice with lots of room but isn't seeing it translate over to the North American rink. It's not a stretch to say he won't pan out as a top-6 NHL forward. Happens all the time. In fact it is far more likely that he will bust than that he will succeed at the NHL ...

Re: 2025 Canucks Off-season

The re-signings tell me that they're interested in keeping the chemistry in the room. Certainly goes a long way in showing the "issues" were largely JTM and a tonne of Media-Driven BS. Everyone else wants to play together, and re-signed. I would say BB took a bit of a discount to do it to.

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Petey would have change to be able to be on a MCKinnen team. He’s a dog who runs a controlled locker room and expects everyone to adhere to on and off ice habits. Has been known to get on a player whose eating habits it’s he believes are not conducive to winning. Not saying this as a negative just t ...

No idea where to put this. The lab picked rhe furthest corner of the park and left his chocolates. I tried to ignore it but he had to kick 20 times and start barking. A Korean couple asked if was going to coean it up. I said I speaka no English and have the gout. Lesson here. Pick up your dog's ...

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Seeing it is their 1sts (16th and 17th) Looks like the Isle is going full teardown rebuild. Wonder if it would be the case if they didn't win the lottery. Should we go knocking so they can go Boston circa 2014 and select three 1st's in a row?? They just moved out a 25 yo..Bo and Barz are over 28 ...
