Boy, wouldn't that be something... if...
It would be symmetric, in a way.

Wouldn't you say?

Silovs is looking like another Ian Clark Latvian success story. If he can be the Swayman to Demko’s Ullmark, wouldn’t that be nice?

Watching the WHC. Cody Glass sucks ass. Imagine if Benning had drafted him instead of Pettersson??

Re: Canucks Young Guns

On the flip side, Silovs is slaying it at the IIHF WHC. He is the biggest reason Latvia is playing Canada in the semifinals, stopping 40 of 41 shots to take out Sweden in the quarters. He's probably better-served starting in Abby next season, but he looks like a good option to back up Demko as well....

Yup. Worth a flyer, but wasn't impressed with what I saw. Have fun in the KHL, kid. Watch out for those mobilization notices.

Re: NHL business

Coyotes will remain in Arizona for many years to come... Likely. Relocation entails a number of things that the league (and players, it seems) will not find palatable at all. Apparently Clayton Keller has said he wouldn't go if the team moves. I think the league has its own opinion on that matter, ...

Re: NHL business

Tempe voters have turned down a new arena proposal for the Coyotes making relocation imminent. Seems Gila wasn't so bad after all. In other news, three of the four remaining teams are in States with no State income tax. Where else is Bettman going to put them??? Houston? Kansas City? Indianapolis? ...

Re: Canucks News n Notes 22-23

Is it true they are thinking of trading their 11th pick for Lafrenière? They've been pretty adamant they're keeping the pick HW. Must be media noise. The media here following the Canucks are the worst on the planet. Craig Simpson says hello Simpson is an Oiler and Leaf cock gobbling in-game colour ...

NY media like Brooks trying to stir up shit that they hope will gain momentum. That would be the shittiest use of a first-round pick - going after the modern-day’s Alexandre Daigle.

Tim Peel ripped Matthews a new one. Said he’s pillow soft and not someone you win with in the playoffs.

From the Athletic’s Sean McIndoe about how the Florida Panthers from this time last season offer an example to the leaves this season: “ You hear this a lot from the fans who are still laudably loyal to this roster. What do you want to do, they’ll ask, give Auston Matthews away? Trade Mitch Marner f...

With only sunbelt teams and the latest western expansions left, yeah, I can imagine Bettman smiling his ass off. Hell, depending on how things go he may see hometown kid Matthews in Arizona before too long. ;)

Re: 2022/23 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs

As easy as it is to say, "No Goalie. No Cup." (5 goals on 22 shots? Yikes.) hands up who pegged Laurent Brossoit and Adin Hill as the goalies to beat McJesus and Kraut??? Vegas' blueline and system were enough to give their no-name goalies room to do their job. Holland got their supposed stud shutdo...
