Re: CC Random thread

Blob must be expecting, his periods are late this month . Did no one get this? You fucking retards? What a waste of time. :drink: Oh, I got it. :hmmm: Seriously though, it was pretty funny  What he said. ;) That said, I think the lack of shit-giving on the ice is starting to affect folks here....

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

For those lost in time, Erhoff on waivers today. IMO, Benning should claim him. 1.5 Million, UFA at the end of the year, get him for nothing to at least replace Edler for the next 3 weeks, and he'd become the best point man on the PP for this team. Ya know, that idea is so crazy it just might work....

Moderately nefarious... but I did score high on Machiavellianism.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Watch him get 10 minutes for the whole game... the Shanny vs. Babs theory on Corrado makes the most sense of any so I wonder what instigated the change in posture.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Yeah, our blueline is so... meh. No one who really has a standout quality in any respect. Edler has a heavy shot, but it doesn't exactly translate into points and his heavy-hitting days appear to be over. What you see is what you get. Hamhuis plays a safe, effective style of hockey but doesn't excel...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Working in Richards favour is the strict substance abuse program in place by the NHL and NHLPA. He has also not been charged in the matter. Rumours are circulating that his Oxy addiction is related to treatment received by LA team doctors in the treatment of several hockey related injuries he recei...

Re: Most intriquing signing of the offseason

Lou leaves NJ to become Leaf GM What are people thoughts? I think that he will bring lots of respect but dont see any radical improvement for the upcoming year. Doesn't make sense IMO. They were all talking about 'leadership by consensus' and having all these big egos brains at the management 'work...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

McDavid scored 5 goals in his first Oilers prospect scrimmage/exhibition game tonight. I felt a little bit of pee come out. Well that's why we got Prust! HURT HIM PRUST!! Wouldn't that be some kharmic shit if McJesus got a career-limiting injury in pre-season??? Yeahno, I wouldn't ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

SJ bought in a sellers market, Vancouver sold in a buyers market. So you would suggest that Benning should have held off until after the draft in order to get a better return on Lack? Was Brisebois worth more than what Benning may have got in next year's draft? I guess we'll see. I'd still love to ...

From the Babcock presser: On why the leaves The leaves are Canada's team in spite of what some may say. I want to be part of returning Canada's team to glory and have them take their rightful place once again On expectations I didn't come here to make the playoffs. I came to be part of a cup winnin...

Hind sight is a euphemism for having your head up your ass. I just want to be entertained, Top. The NHL is in the business of entertainment, correct? Kassian is damn entertaining. He's like the anti Linden Vey. Lindey Vey sucks. Just looking at pictures of the guy makes me laugh. If you're having a...

As disappointed/pissed we may be imagine the problems in Pittsburg, Boston, LA, SJS. Tampa may join the list along with Washington or NYI. All teams with much higher expectations than us. Tampa and NYI are on the rise, they will be ok. But the others, well let's just say they have some rebuilding t...
