2026 Under 18’s

So, Sweden just won this as well, even though the big wigs for some retarded reason wouldn’t let Viggo Björck play since he decided he wanted to play the final of the Swedish J20 championships for his team Djurgården which they won the day after the Swedish U18 team left for this championship. He would have been able to join the team two days before their first game, but no. Fucking idiots.
But turns out we did OK even without one of our biggest stars of this age group.
We beat Canada 4-2 in the quarter, then the Czechs 4-3 in ot in the semifinal and now Slovakia 4-2 in the final!
Having also won the World Juniors this year, it seems our youth development programme must be doing reasonably well.
The future is bright!
