I am wondering what "upper body" injury EP40 is dealing with?

Is it his wrist again or what (pure conjecture)?

Everything I can find says MRI's are negative, he is travelling with the team (which suggests treatment required is not aggressive nor monumental as well as the fact he should be close to playing).....

...yet here we are at what, game 7 missed today?

Yes, that would be the optimal plan.

If that occurs, Kane gets moved along as well & we are truly going to "rebuild" and aim for a high pick I'd like to see...

Nope. Evander still seemed to be doing a little of that in Edmonton, but it's been missing completely here.
