L-GDT: Canucks host Blackhawks Nov05.25 @ 7 PM PST SNP
My tribute to Doc continues - hopefully for the foreseeable future! Time to go on a run, as they start to welcome warm bodies back to the lineup soon.
The second of three meetings against the Hawks, with a come from behind SOW for Van in the last meeting.
The Good: Van's top guys like playing Chi-town. Brock, Petey, Hughes and Kane along with both goalies all have pretty good numbers against them (Though, the past few years - who doesn't).
The Bad: Bedard is out to prove Chef wrong. 9 pts, in his last 5 games - and looking much like the star he will be. That confidence, and coming home - its almost a guarantee he puts up some points tonight.
Perhaps unsurprisingly (due to all Van's injuries to start the year) - Chicago is actually the better team statistically in things like GF/G - GA/G etc. And with a win tonight, can leap frog Van in the standings.
That being said, they are still a young team - and our shooters have proven to be opportunistic this year. Between Chicago's loose defense, 4 of their last five games feature more than 30 shots against, but with some solid goaltending - I still like Van's chances. They did fly home yesterday, and are back it today. First game back from a road trip et al. But as always, Optimism carries the day.
I'm hoping Cornuck can post the lineups later today, and Rats will let us know the predictive score. Lets goooooooo!

Time to go on a run with some PUDDING POWER!
With 4 points separating 23 teams, this could be a tight season with everyone adjusting to the cramped schedule.

6-4 Canucks. A goal for each Petey; others by Raty, Reichel, and an empty netter for Kane.

He gets lowered down on ropes from the Stars chopper right before puck drop so you might catch him changing into his tux in the upper level shitters
If you need air...call it in

Would be worth it just to get a firsthand take on Bedard as a player.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
